I try to provide accurate information, but there are so many variables in food and food data bases, to be precise is a very expensive endeavor requiring lab analysis. An example of variables is: if a piece of meat is marinated, the marinade contributes some calories and nutrients, but most of the marinade, is uneaten by most people. Or a smoothie may be made with non-fat yogurt or whole-milk yogurt which significantly changes the calories. My goal is to use nutrient-dense foods that provide health benefits.
